Jalal Talabani
Jalal Talabani ( ku, مام جەلال تاڵەبانی, translit=Celal Talebanî; ar, جلال طالباني ; 1933 – 3 October 2017) was an Iraqi Kurdish politician who served as the sixth president of Iraq from 2006 to 2014, as well as the president of the Governing Council of Iraq. He was the first non-Arab president of Iraq. He is known as Mam Jalal (uncle Jalal in Kurdish) amongst the Kurds. Talabani was the founder and secretary-general of one of the main Kurdish political parties, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). Bafel Talabani
Bafel Jalal Talabani (Kurdish: بافڵ جەلال تاڵەبانی), known as Bafel Talabani (Kurdish: بافڵ تاڵەبانی) (born 1 January 1973), is an Iraqi Kurdish politician and current leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). He is the older son of former PUK leader Jalal Talabani. Military career Talabani underwent formal military training with the French Foreign Legion and British Special Forces. Following the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, Talabani returned to Sulaymaniyah and took up his first official role as head of the Zanyari, the PUK's intelligence unit. Lahur Talabany, born 1975; (Kurdish: لاهور تاڵەبانی) also known as Lahur Sheikh Jangi Talabany is the former Co-President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the former Director of the Zanyari Agency, one of two intelligence services in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq operating within the framework of the Kurdistan Region Security Council, and Former Director of the Counter Terrorism Group ( CTG). Kadir Talabani (born June 1, 1986) is a Norwegian-Kurdish actor born in Kirkuk, Iraq. After his family got involved in the establishment of the PUK political party in 1975, the Talabanis lived in exile in various locations in the Middle East. Mukarram Talabani
Mukarram Talabani (born 1925) is an Iraqi Kurdish politician and former government minister in Ba'athist Iraq. He was born in Kirkuk. After studying law in Baghdad, Talabani worked as a lawyer from 1946 onwards but was imprisoned from 1948 to 1955 and was only able to return to his work as an attorney after the overthrow of the Iraqi monarchy. Under the Iraqi government of Abd al-Karim Qasim, he became head of the state tobacco company in 1959 and later inspector of the Ministry of Agrarian Reform.
