Takkar (2008 Film)
''Takkar'' (Bengali: টক্কর) is a 2008 Bengali film Directed by Swapan Saha. It stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rachana Banerjee in lead roles. Music of the film is composed by Ashok Bhadra and produced by Subhash Chandra Goel. Plot Rich suburban girl Chaitali Choudhury marries nephew oriented man Ajoy against the wishes of her elder brother and aunt. But within a couple of months Chaitali and Ajoy go loggerheads over the issue of Ajoy's beloved nephew Arun. Ajoy slaps Chaitali in front of her brother Joydeb's friend Shekhar. Chaitali leaves home even after repeated requests from Ajoy's mother and his widow sister Dipa to stay back. Ajoy transforms to a business tycoon from a poor man after this incident. On the other hand, Chatali is influenced against Ajoy by Joydeb, pisi (her aunt) and Shekhar. 15 years go by. Prosenjit Chatterjee
Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema . He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee. He began his acting career as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's ''Chotto Jigyasa'', for which he won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award. Following this he appeared in other films as a child actor. His first leading role came through Bimal Roy's ''Duti Pata''. Rachna Banerjee (born Jhumjhum Rakesh Banerjee; 2 October 1974) also known as Rachana, is an Indian actress, entrepreneur and television presenter. She is known for her works in Bengali and Odia film industries and has also appeared in several Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Being crowned the 1994 Miss Kolkata, she has also won five beauty contests in India including Miss Beautiful Smile at the Miss India contest. Bhaswar Chattopadhyay or Bhaswar Chatterjee (born 8 March 1975) is a Bengali film and television actor. He attended high school at South Point School and graduated in bioscience from Asutosh College. Before getting his first job in GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals in 1996, he obtained a diploma in marketing and sales management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
