Taking Flight (book)
''Taking Flight'' is the fourth studio album by Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo, released on July 25, 2007 under VIVA Records. The album showcases songs by Filipino composers Louie Ocampo, Trina Belamide, Chuckie Dreyfus, Rebel Magdagasang and Medwin Marfil. To date, all its editions have sold more than 30,000 copies in the Philippines, certifying Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. Singles The carrier single of the album, ''I'll Be Alright'', was written by Louie Ocampo who, was also the musical director of her sold-out concert ''In Motion'' at the Araneta Coliseum. It went gold in four months and sold more than 15,000 units, after she released her second single, ''Ikaw''. True Faith (band)
True Faith is a band from the Philippines, formed in 1991. They have become one of the Philippines' most popular and accomplished bands. The band took its name from New Order's 1987 hit single " True Faith", revealing the group's new wave origins. At first, True Faith mined mid-1980s new wave sounds for its breezy pop formula, but the group eventually ventured further into the Philippine mainstream, firmly embracing middle of the road radio. Under the Viva Records label, the band has 13 best-selling albums. Chuckie Dreyfus (; born Charles de Joya Dreyfus on August 7, 1974) is a Filipino film actor. He received his first award as Best Child Performer 1984 at the Metro Manila Film Festival, won the FAMAS Award 1985 for Best Child Actor in the film ''Idol'' in which he played the sidekick of Philippine action star, Rudy Fernandez and in 1988 won Best Child Performer in Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) Award for ''Once Upon a Time''. Career Dreyfus was 10 years old when he made his film debut in the 1984 film ''Idol'' with Rudy Fernandez. ''A Very Special Love'' is a 2008 Filipino comedy romance film produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films and starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. The film was directed by Cathy Garcia Molina and had received an “A” rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board. The film was released on the 30th day of July 2008 and ran for eight weeks on cinemas in the Philippines. It was also released in the United States on August 15 of the same year. The Araneta Coliseum, also currently known by naming rights sponsorship as Smart Araneta Coliseum, is an indoor multi-purpose sports arena that is part of the Araneta City in the Cubao area of Quezon City, Philippines. Nicknamed as "the Big Dome", it is one of the largest indoor arenas in Asia, and it is also one of the largest clear span domes in the world. Katrina "Trina" Belamide is a Philippines, Filipino songwriter and record producer. According to the ''Manila Times'' she has written songs for most of the Philippines' top recording artists.
