Takeo Takahashi (footballer)
(former name; Takeo Kimura, 木村 武夫) is a former Japanese football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. Club career Takahashi was born in Shinagawa, Tokyo on May 13, 1947. After graduating from high school, he joined Furukawa Electric in 1966. In 1967 season, he scored 15 goals and became a top scorer. He was 20 years old, this is the youngest top scorer in Japan Soccer League. He left the club in 1973 and entered Tokyo University of Agriculture. After graduating from Tokyo University of Agriculture, he joined Division 2 club Toshiba in 1979. In 1979, the club won the champions in Division 2. He retired in 1982. National team career In December 1966, Takahashi was selected Japan national team for 1966 Asian Games. At this competition, on December 17, he debuted against Thailand. He also played at 1970 Asian Games. This competition was his last game for Japan. He played 14 games and scored 4 goals for Japan until 1970. Coaching career After retirement, ... Shinagawa

Thailand National Football Team
The Thailand national football team ( th, ฟุตบอลทีมชาติไทย, , ) represents Thailand in senior international football and is controlled by the Football Association of Thailand. In the regional competition, Thailand is the most successful football team in Southeast Asia with six AFF Championship trophies and nine senior-level gold medals from the Southeast Asian Games, the most of any Southeast Asian country. In higher levels, Thailand achieved the third place in the 1972 AFC Asian Cup where it was the host, and has totally seven appearances in the AFC Asian Cup so far. Furthermore, the team reached the fourth-place in the 1990 and 1998 Asian Games and participated in the Summer Olympics twice. The 1973 season of Japanese football. League tables JSL First Division Tanabe Pharmaceuticals was relegated, thereby becoming the first Japanese team to go straight back down one season after promotion. JSL 1/2 Promotion/Relegation Series Eidai promoted, Tanabe relegated. 1972 Japan Soccer League
The 1972 season in Japanese football introduced a Second Division to the Japan Soccer League. Nine clubs were chosen from the 1971 Japanese Regional Leagues; when Nagoya Mutual Bank resigned from the League, a tenth club was chosen from the Kansai League. League tables JSL First Division No relegation took place as the First Division was being expanded to 10 clubs. JSL Second Division Toyota Motors, later one of the Japanese big names as Nagoya Grampus, was crowned the inaugural Second Division champion. Tanabe Pharmaceutical, a club from Osaka, followed them into the expanded 10-team First Division. No relegations took place, to keep the Second Division at 10 clubs.
