"Take Ü There" is the debut collaboration single by American EDM DJ duo Skrillex and Diplo together as Jack Ü, written and performed by the duo and Canadian singer Kiesza, and produced by the duo. It serves as the lead single from Jack Ü's debut studio album ''Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü'', and was released on October 4, 2014, through Skrillex's Owsla and Diplo's Mad Decent. It peaked at number 63 on the UK Singles Chart. Background The song premiered at Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party on August 9, 2014. Music video A music video for the song, directed by Joseph Kahn, Dillon Moore and Daniel Streit, was released in November 2014. The video combines real footage with animation. Jack Ü was an American DJ duo consisting of electronic music producers Skrillex and Diplo, formed in 2013. They released their first official single, "Take Ü There", featuring vocals from Kiesza, on September 17, 2014. On February 3, 2015, the duo announced that they would be working with Missy Elliott on a remix of "Take Ü There". They released their first and only album, ''Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü'', on February 27, 2015. Jack Ü performed at Ultra Music Festival Miami in 2014. Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso (; born 12 May 1985), better known by his stage name Tchami (), is a French record producer and DJ from Paris. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he is best known for his solo work and regarded as a pioneer of the future house genre alongside Dutch DJs Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo. Branden Ratcliff, also known as Vindata is a producer/DJ based in Los Angeles. The project was formerly a duo with Jared Poythress.
