"Take Ü There" is the debut collaboration single by American EDM DJ duo Skrillex and Diplo together as Jack Ü, written and performed by the duo and Canadian singer Kiesza, and produced by the duo. It serves as the lead single from Jack Ü's debut studio album ''Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü'', and was released on October 4, 2014, through Skrillex's Owsla and Diplo's Mad Decent. It peaked at number 63 on the UK Singles Chart. Background The song premiered at Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party on August 9, 2014. Music video A music video for the song, directed by Joseph Kahn, Dillon Moore and Daniel Streit, was released in November 2014. The video combines real footage with animation. Jack Ü was an American DJ duo consisting of electronic music producers Skrillex and Diplo, formed in 2013. They released their first official single, "Take Ü There", featuring vocals from Kiesza, on September 17, 2014. On February 3, 2015, the duo announced that they would be working with Missy Elliott on a remix of "Take Ü There". They released their first and only album, ''Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü'', on February 27, 2015. Jack Ü performed at Ultra Music Festival Miami in 2014. They also performed at Ultra Music Festival in 2015 with the entire "Jack Ü crew", featuring live contributions from CL (singer), CL, Kai (Canadian singer), Kai, Sean Combs, Diddy, Kiesza and Justin Bieber. Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso (; born 12 May 1985), better known by his stage name Tchami (), is a French record producer and DJ from Paris. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he is best known for his solo work and regarded as a pioneer of the future house genre alongside Dutch DJs Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo. When asked about the origins of his name Tchami, the French artist explained, "I used to travel a lot across Europe and Africa these past five years. Tchami is a name that has been given to me in Africa which is an honor. Fortunately it sounded catchy to me, so I kept it. That's all folks." Branden Ratcliff, also known as Vindata is a producer/DJ based in Los Angeles. The project was formerly a duo with Jared Poythress. In March 2017, they were featured on ''Rolling Stone''s list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know Now. They gained recognition with a single featuring Kenzie May, "All I Really Need." The publication was originally a website devoted to hip hop, until Lazerine decided to pitch the possibility of a magazine to several publishers.
