The band consists of Trevor McNevan and Steve Augustine. The original lineup included John Bunner on guitar and Justin Smith on bass. The band has released four studio albums, most recently '' My Brain Says Stop, But My Heart Says Go!'' (2011). Career Their first album '' What Are You Waiting For?'' was produced by Aaron Sprinkle, who also produced Thousand Foot Krutch's album ''Phenomenon''. The album featured the hit singles "Definitely Maybe", "Something to Believe In", and "Crazy Mary". FM Static toured through 2003 to 2005; John Bunner quickly retired after playing a few shows and so Justin asked his brother Jeremy to fill in for them. ''Dear Diary'' is a Christian rock opera, and the third studio album by the pop punk band FM Static. It was released on April 7, 2009 through Tooth & Nail Records. According to Trevor McNevan "It's a concept record, the entire album will be one story from beginning to end. It's based on a boy (and occasionally a girl) and their diary entries about what's going on in their lives. It deals with faith, doubt, love, death, and the honest questions that surround living and growing up in modern day culture. We're very pumped about this record and are excited to share it with you." Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle, Washington where it is situated today. It is home to many well-known musical acts, including Underoath, Hawk Nelson, Emery, The Almost, FM Static, Family Force 5, Anberlin, and MxPx. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish'', which was produced by Michael Knott and originally slated to be released by Blonde Vinyl. Trevor McNevan
Trevor McNevan is a Canadian singer who is best known as the lead singer, songwriter and rapper of Thousand Foot Krutch, lead singer and songwriter of pop punk side project FM Static along with Steve Augustine (the third Thousand Foot Krutch drummer), and rapper and songwriter of hip hop side-project I Am the Storm. His first band, Oddball, included Dave Smith (guitar) and Tim Baxter (bass), as well as drummer Neil Sanderson. Oddball released the 27-song record ''Shutterbug'', in 1995, featuring half hip-hop and half rock songs. McNevan is the only original member of Thousand Foot Krutch. He formed the band in Peterborough, Ontario in 1997, along with original guitarist Dave Smith.
