Take Me High
''Take Me High'' is a 1973 British feature film, directed by David Askey, written by Christopher Penfold and starring Cliff Richard in his final film role, with Deborah Watling, Hugh Griffith, George Cole and Anthony Andrews. Set and filmed mainly in Birmingham, it features many landmarks from the city, including Gas Street Basin, Alpha Tower, the Council House (as a hotel), Spaghetti Junction, New Street, Corporation Street, Central Library and the Hall of Memory. It was released on Warner Home Video in 1988 as a VHS tape. It was not given a retail release on DVD until March 2019, although a free DVD of the film was issued with the ''Daily Mail'' on 25 September 2010. David Askey

New Street is a street in Birmingham City Centre, central Birmingham, England. It is one of the city's principal thoroughfares and shopping streets linking Victoria Square, Birmingham, Victoria Square to the Bull Ring, Birmingham, Bullring Shopping Centre. John Franklyn-Robbins
John Franklyn-Robbins (14 December 1924 – 21 March 2009) was an English character and voice actor. A prolific Shakespearean actor, he trained at RADA and proceeded to work at the Manchester Library Theatre and the Bristol Old Vic early in his career. He played a diverse number of roles ranging from Ariel in '' The Tempest'' to Macduff in ''Macbeth''. His prestigious stage career included stints in both the West End and Broadway. Graham Armitage
Graham Armitage (24 April 1936 – 6 March 1999) was an English stage, film and television actor. Armitage was born in Blackpool in Lancashire, the son of Albert Edward Armitage (1908–1959) and Isabel W. ''née'' Bailes (1909–). In 1947 Harvey left the UK with his family, flying to South Africa and eventually settling in Cape Town where he attended Sea Point Boy’s High School and then the Christian Brothers College. In early 1951 Harvey and his family moved to Salisbury, in Southern Rhodesia where he attended Prince Edward School. During 1952 Harvey wrote the entrance exam for late entry to Dartmouth Naval College. Whilst his Maths and Geography results were outstanding he had not studied the same syllabus for English Literature and History so failed to obtain entrance. Jimmy Gardner (actor)
Edward Charles James Gardner, DFM (24 August 1924 – 3 May 2010) was an English actor. During World War II, Gardner served in the Royal Air Force as an air gunner with No. 10 Squadron. He completed 30 sorties as a Halifax rear gunner and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal. His first film appearance was in ''The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb'' released during 1964. Thereafter he appeared in over 30 films and also made extensive TV and theatre appearances. Some of his best known Shakespearean roles such as Adam in '' As You Like It'', and Gravedigger in ''Hamlet'' were performed under the direction of Terry Hands. Ronald Hines
Ronald Charles Andrew Hines (20 June 1929 – 28 March 2017) was a British television actor. He had a lengthy career, but possibly his most prominent roles were as Henry Corner in three of the four series of ''Not in Front of the Children'', and as William Cecil in ''Elizabeth R''. After graduating from RADA in 1950, Hines started on stage at Stratford, and made many theatrical appearances throughout his career, including at the Royal Court, the Old Vic and the National Theatre. On television, he starred in the 1959–60 sitcom '' Tell It to the Marines''. Richard Wattis (25 February 1912 – 1 February 1975) was an English actor, co-starring in many popular British comedies of the 1950s and 1960s. Early life Richard Cameron Wattis was born on 25 February 1912 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire, the elder of two sons born to Cameron Tom Wattis and Margaret Janet, née Preston.
