Competing in three Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of sixth twice (7.5 km sprint event: 2002, 4 x 5 km team: 2006). Daisuke Takahashi is a full professor of computer science at the University of Tsukuba, specializing in high-performance numerical computing. Education and career Takahashi received a bachelor's degree in engineering in 1993 and a master's degree in engineering in 1995, both from Toyohashi University of Technology.
