, known by his ring name Shingo Takagi (鷹木信悟, ''Takagi Shingo''), is a Japanese professional wrestler and former bodybuilder, currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is the provisional KOPW 2022 champion in his first reign and is a member of the ''Los Ingobernables de Japón'' stable. Takagi first became known for his work with Dragon Gate, where he competed from his debut in 2004 up until 2018. was an admiral in the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. Biography Takagi was a native of Iwaki city, Fukushima prefecture. He was a graduate of the 39th class of the Imperial Japanese Naval Academy, ranking 17th of 148 cadets in 1911. As a midshipman, he served on the cruiser and battleship , and after his commissioning as ensign, on the cruiser and battleship . Akimitsu Takagi
, was the pen-name of a popular Japanese crime fiction writer active during the Shōwa period of Japan. His real name was Takagi Seiichi. Biography Takagi was born in Aomori City in Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan. He graduated from the Daiichi High School (which was often abbreviated to ''Ichi-ko'') and Kyoto Imperial University, where he studied metallurgy. He was employed by the Nakajima Aircraft Company, but lost his job with the prohibition on military industries in Japan after World War II. On the recommendation of a fortune-teller, he decided to become a writer. He sent the second draft of his first detective story, '' The Tattoo Murder Case'', to the great mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo, who recognized his skill and who recommended it to a publisher. is a Japanese entomologist who has specialised in the scale insects (Coccoidea), particularly the armoured scale insects of the Diaspididae. Takagi studied at Hokkaido University , or , is a Japanese national university in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It was the fifth Imperial University in Japan, which were established to be the nation's finest institutions of higher education or research.
