Tail Schoonjans
Tail Schoonjans (born 19 August 1986) is a retired Belgian professional footballer, who last played for Grimbergen in the Belgian Third Division. Career Schoonjans started his youth career with Stade Leuven, before it merged into OH Leuven in 2002. With OH Leuven, he promoted up two levels from the Belgian Third Division to the Belgian Pro League as the club got promoted in 2005 and 2011. In these ten years, he featured in 150 matches for OH Leuven, scoring 18 goals in the process. During the first half of the 2011-12 season however, he was surpassed by Bjorn Ruytinx and Derick Ogbu, only allowing him to make three substitute appearances, of which one was in the Belgian Cup. The 2011–12 Belgian Cup (also known as ''Cofidis Cup'' because of sponsoring purposes) is the 57th season of the main knockout football competition in Belgium. It commenced on 31 July 2011 with the first matches of Round 1 and concluded on 24 March 2012, which is exceptionally early, but was chosen to make sure all matches would be finished before the start of the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament. The winner of the competition qualifies for the play-off round of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League. Standard Liège were the defending champions. The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. History The second division was created in 1909 and was known as the Promotion nl, bevordering at the time. From 1923 on there were two leagues in that division (called Promotion A and Promotion B).
