Tahjib Alam Siddique
Tahjib Alam Siddique ( bn, তাহজীব আলম সিদ্দিকী) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Jhenaidah-2. Early life Siddique was born on 23 July 1975. He completed his Master's in Public Administration from a university in the United States. His father, Nur-E-Alam Siddique, was the President of Bangladesh Chhatra League and Independent Member of Parliament. Career Siddique was elected to Parliament on 5 January 2014 from Jhenaidah-2 as an independent candidate. He owns Doreen Power Limited, which has given the contract to build a power plant in Singair Upazila named Manikganj Power Generations Limited. Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui
Nur-e-Alam Siddique (26 May 1940 – 29 March 2023) was a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. He was particularly known for his involvement in the Bangladesh Liberation War and pre-indepence era politics as a student leader. He served as a Member of Parliament for Jessore-2 in the first parliament, from 1973 to 1975. Career Siddiqui was elected to parliament from Jessore-2 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in 1973. Manikganj is a district situated in Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. Manikganj is one of the green and pollution free towns in Bangladesh. The Dhaleshwari River ( bn, ধলেশ্বরী ''Dhôleshshori'') is a distributary, long, of the Jamuna River (Bangladesh), Jamuna River in central Bangladesh. It starts off the Jamuna near the northwestern tip of Tangail District. After that it divides into two branches: the north branch retains the name Dhaleshwari and merges with the other branch, the Kaliganga River at the southern part of Manikganj District.
