Tagore Park is a recreation park situated in Mangalore in the state of Karnataka in India. It contains a lighthouse, with a height of 33 feet built in the year 1900. Aloyseum
Aloyseum is a museum on the St Aloysius College campus in Mangalore city of Karnataka in India. It was established in the year 1913. History This museum began in 1913 when an Italian Jesuit priest named Chiapi donated around 2000 different types of minerals, Herbarium and a collection of Roman coins. In 1906, the De Dion car was the first automobile that was used in Mangalore. It was imported to Mangalore by P F X Saldanha of the Highland Coffee Works. Kadri Park is a park located in Kadri Gudde (meaning "hill" in Tulu). It is the largest park in Mangalore. This park contains a musical fountain and has hosted the Karavali Utsav. Sasihithlu beach also known as Daibittil beach is located in Sasihithlu village, which is situated north of Mangalore city, in the state of Karnataka, in India. Someshwar Beach
Someshwar Beach ( Tulu/Kannada :''Someshwara'') is a beach located in Ullal in the city of Mangalore, India. The name 'Someshwara beach' is derived from the name of Lord Somanatha, whose temple is located on the sea shore dating back centuries. The beach is more preferred for walking or sunbathing, as the hidden rocks and currents along this stretch of coast make this beach unsuitable for swimming. The sea claims a number of lives every year as unwary swimmers are dragged by the current. Close to this beach there is a hill called 'Ottinene Hill'. On reaching the top of this hill there are views of Netravati River merging and disappearing in Arabian Sea. Ullal Beach is situated on the southwestern seaboard of the Indian sub-continent, adjacent to Ullal town, 10 km south of the city of Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
