Tageteae
Tageteae is a tribe of the plant family Asteraceae. It consists of approximately 260 species divided among 32 genera. All are found in the New World, with a center of diversity in the Mexican highlands. The type genus is ''Tagetes'' (marigolds). Some authors include these plants within a more broadly defined tribe Heliantheae. Pectis
''Pectis'' is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae described as a genus by Linnaeus in 1759. The name is derived from the Latin word ''pecten'', meaning "comb." It refers to the marginally-bristled leaves or the pappus form. These plants vary in appearance but they usually bear yellow daisy-like flower heads.
