''Taemin'' is the self-titled third studio album and debut Japanese studio album by South Korean singer Taemin. The album contains twelve tracks and includes Japanese versions of previously released songs by Taemin. The album was released digitally on November 5, 2018, through EMI Records and Universal Music Japan. The album's physical release occurred on November 28, 2018. Background and release On September 22, 2018, the official Shinee Japanese Instagram account posted a highlight medley for the upcoming ''Taemin'' album, although at that time the album was reported to be titled ''Eclipse''. It was also announced that the single "Eclipse" would be released on September 26. On October 3, 2018, Taemin officially announced that he would release his first Japanese studio album on November 28, 2018. Lee Tae-min (born July 18, 1993), better known mononymously as Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor and dancer. He debuted as a member of the boy band Shinee in May 2008 and the supergroup SuperM in 2019, both under SM Entertainment, and has subsequently been labeled by media outlets as the "Idol's Idol" due to the large number of idols citing him as an inspiration. As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 MBC comedy ''Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun''. Taemin debuted as a soloist in 2014 with the release of his first extended play (EP), ''Ace''. Kim Yeon-jung (Hangul: 김연정), known professionally as Kenzie, is a South Korean songwriter and record producer who signed under SM Entertainment. The Smeezingtons
The Smeezingtons were an American songwriting and record production team consisting of Bruno Mars (born 1985), Philip Lawrence (born 1980), and Ari Levine (born May 5, 1984). The Smeezingtons were established in Los Angeles, California; their production and writing services had been increasingly in demand since 2009. Eventually, the trio split, and with Christopher Brody Brown, Mars and Lawrence formed a new production trio called "Shampoo Press & Curl". Remee Sigvardt Jackman (né Mikkel Johan Imer Sigvardt; born Frederiksberg, 8 November 1974), better known as Remee, is a Danish producer, composer and songwriter. Junji Ishiwatari
is a Japanese musician, songwriter and record producer. He is also famous for being a guitarist of the Japanese band Supercar. Biography Ishiwatari found an ad looking for band members that had been posted by Miki Furukawa at a musical instrument store in Hachinohe. He made contact with her in 1995, invited his childhood friend Kōji Nakamura, and while still in high school they formed a band. Kōdai Tazawa later joined the band, which was named Supercar.
