Tae Sattawat
Sattawat Sethakorn (; ); born 26 April 1982 (age 35), also known by his stage name Tae ( th, เต๊ะ; ) or his Chinese name Tang Chenyu (), is a Thai television and film actor active in the Chinese-language entertainment industry. He began his career in Thailand, moved to Taiwan in the early 2000s, and has since worked on productions in mainland China as well. Career At the age of 19, Sethakorn decided to move to Taiwan to develop his career further. He quickly improved his Chinese language abilities, only occasionally needing translation assistance in the course of his work. Personal life Sethakorn was born in Kanchanaburi. His maternal grandfather was of Teochew Chinese descent, while his other grandparents were native Thai people. His parents are schoolteachers. He has one sister, younger than him by three years. ATV Home () was a free-to-air Cantonese television channel in Hong Kong, owned and operated by Asia Television. It was formed in September 1963 as a result of the split of the bilingual Rediffusion Television subscription service (which was primarily owned by British company Rediffusion) into dedicated Cantonese and English-language services. In 1969, the broadcaster was granted a license for over-the-air broadcasting. Facing heavy competition from its free-to-air competitor TVB Jade, a change in ownership in 2010 and an attempt to cut back on dramas in favour of more current affairs, news, and talk programming resulted in further financial losses and internal conflicts. China Television Company, Ltd. (CTV; ) (Formerly called Taiwan Daytime TV (TDT) in 1969-1975) is a television broadcasting company based in Taipei, Taiwan. It was established on September 3, 1968, by the then-ruling Nationalist Party (KMT) of the Republic of China. The party owned the majority stake of the network.
