Tadija Dragićević
Tadija Dragićević ( sr-cyr, Тадија Драгићевић; born 28 January 1986) is a retired Serbian professional basketball player. Standing at , he played the power forward position. Professional career Dragićević grew up with the KK Crvena zvezda youth teams, and patiently improved himself as a player, until he eventually became a team captain and Adriatic League MVP at the senior level. On 22 January 2010, after five years in the club's first team, he was released from the club, due to financial difficulties that the club had fallen into. On 25 January 2010 he signed with the Italian club Lottomatica Roma, for the rest of the season. He spent the following season playing with Alba Berlin, in the Basketball Bundesliga. In July 2011, he signed a two-year contract with the Italian club Angelico Biella. In 30 games played in the Italian League, he averaged 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. The Prva A liga, for sponsorships reasons named the Erste Liga, is the top-tier professional basketball league in Montenegro. It is the highest basketball division organized by the Basketball Association of Montenegro (KSCG). FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 European Championship, previously known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under', is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. 2007–08 ABA NLB League
The ABA NLB League 2007–08, the seventh season of the regional Liga ABA, saw a further change in the competition structure. After trying a playoff system the previous year, the league returned to a combination of elimination and a Final Four tournament. 14 teams from Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia participated in the NLB League in its seventh season: Union Olimpija, Helios, Geoplin Slovan, Cibona, Zadar, Zagreb, Split, Široki ERONET, Crvena zvezda, Partizan, Hemofarm, FMP Železnik, Vojvodina and Budućnost. The ABA League Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) is an annual ABA League award given since the inaugural season to the best performing player of the regular season. The League is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Dejan Milojević won the award a record three times. Luka Žorić won it twice. Kenyan Weaks, Chester Mason, and David Simon of the United States and Goga Bitadze of Georgia are the only MVP winners outside the region. The Montenegrin Basketball Cup is an annual cup competition for Montenegrin basketball teams held since 2007. History Montenegrin clubs in Yugoslav Cup Before the Montenegrin independence in 2006, clubs from Montenegro played in national Cup of Yugoslavia. Most successful was KK Budućnost with three trophies won. First time, Budućnost won the trophy at final-four 1996 in Nikšić, defeating KK Partizan (126–115) in the final.
