''Tactical Girls'' is a Canadian digital series created and written by Melissa D'Agostino, Matt Campagna and Diana Bentley. The series stars Nicole Stamp, Melissa D'Agostino and Diana Bentley as three women who work in the trucking industry, but at night dress as soldiers for tactical missions. The first season was released in August 2016. Nicole Stamp
Nicole Stamp is a Canadian television host, director, actor, filmmaker, playwright, and voice actress. Career Stamp works as a host, producer, and director, having started her career at TVOntario, where she co-hosted TVOntario's afternoon block, ''The SPACE'', from 2003 to 2007. Stamp also hosted the Ontario Championships of ''Reach For The Top'' from 2004 until 2009. She also could be seen on TVO playing EnviroGirl, an educational superhero in a live-action miniseries she also wrote. Stamp has directed and hosted hundreds of red carpet talent interviews at the Toronto International Film Festival for Alliance Films and Tribute Media. TVOntario won the "Best Interactive" Gemini Award for the series ''Time Trackers'', a historical series hosted by Stamp in which she also voiced several animated characters. The single-camera setup, or single-camera mode of production, also known as portable single camera, is a method of filmmaking and video production. The single-camera setup originally developed during the birth of the classical Hollywood cinema in the 1910s and has remained the standard mode of production for cinema. In television production, both single-camera and multiple-camera methods are commonly used. Description In this setup, each of the various shots and camera angles are taken using the same camera, or multiple cameras pointed in one direction, which are moved and reset to get each shot or new angle. If a scene cuts back and forth between actor A and actor B, the director will first point the camera toward A and run part or all of the scene from this angle, then move the camera to point at B, relight, and then run the scene through from this angle. Maria Vacratsis
Maria Vacratsis (born July 28, 1955) is a Canadian actress. She has been featured in several Canadian television series, including '' Degrassi: The Next Generation'', ''Little Mosque on the Prairie'', ''Tactical Girls'', and '' Rent-a-Goalie''. Kristian Bruun
Charles Kristian Bonnycastle Bruun (born October 25, 1979) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his roles in ''Orphan Black'' and ''Murdoch Mysteries''. Life and career Bruun was born on October 25, 1979, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he was raised. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1997, followed by Queen's University at Kingston, Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario for a B.A. in drama, graduating in 2001. He also studied at the George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and with David Rotenberg (author), David Rotenberg at the Professional Actors Lab. The 5th annual Canadian Screen Awards were held on March 12, 2017, to honour achievements in Canadian film, television, and digital media production in 2016. Nominations were announced on January 17, 2017.
