Tacoma Tides
The Tacoma Tides was an American soccer club based in Tacoma, Washington that was a member of the American Soccer League. It began play in 1976, but the league folded the following year. It was owned by businessman and future governor Booth Gardner; among its players was backup goalkeeper Bruce Arena, who later coached several Major League Soccer champions and the United States men's national team. Ben Brewster
Benjamin Brewster is an American retired soccer forward who earned one caps, scoring a single goal, as a member of the U.S. national team in 1973. He played three seasons in the North American Soccer League and at least two in the American Soccer League. Player Youth and college Brewster did not begin playing soccer until he was eighteen years old. He attended Brown University and played for the school's soccer team where he was a 1968 second team All-American. In his four seasons at Brown, Brewster scored thirty-three goals and amassed fifty points. He has since been inducted into the Brown University Athletic Hall of Fame. Andrew Rymarczuk (1951 – February 23, 1997) is a former U.S. soccer forward. He played three seasons in the North American Soccer League and at least one in the American Soccer League. He also earned five caps with the U.S. national team in 1973. Youth Rymarczuk attended North Catholic High School where he was a 1st team All-Catholic player and a member of the 1967 Championship team. A 1969 graduate, he was posthumously inducted into the North Catholic Soccer Hall of Fame in 2009. He attended Penn State where he played on the men's soccer team from 1969 to 1972. Chris Agoliati is a retired American soccer player who played at least two seasons in the American Soccer League and three in the North American Soccer League. Agoliati graduated from the Staten Island Academy in 1969 and Cornell University in 1973. He was an All-American, first team All Ivy on the Big Red soccer team. In 1973, he signed with the Connecticut Wildcats and started as a defender at left fullback in front of Soccer Hall of Famer Tony Diccio. In 1975, he moved to the Boston Minutemen of the North American Soccer League. In 1975 on national television Agoliati scored a goal against Pele and the New York Cosmos. Charlie Myers is a retired American football (soccer) forward who played professionally in the American Soccer League. Myers graduated from Overlea High School where he was a member of the school's State Championship soccer team. He attended the University of Baltimore where he played on the men's soccer team from 1971 to 1975.
