Tacoma Defiance
Tacoma Defiance, formerly Seattle Sounders FC 2, is an American professional soccer team based in Tacoma, Washington, U.S. that competes in the MLS Next Pro, the third tier of the national soccer pyramid, as the reserve team of Seattle Sounders FC. The Defiance is operated by The Baseball Club of Tacoma (operator/owner of the Tacoma Rainiers) and managed by Seattle Sounders FC, while 20 percent of the club is fan-owned through the non-profit Sounders Community Trust. The club was established in 2014 as Seattle Sounders FC 2 (S2) and originally played at Starfire Sports in Tukwila, Washington. The team moved to Tacoma's Cheney Stadium in 2018 and was rebranded as the Defiance the following season. The Defiance plans to move into a new soccer-specific stadium near Cheney Stadium in the 2020s. United Soccer League (USL), formerly known as United Soccer Leagues, is a soccer league in the United States and Canada. It organizes several men's and women's leagues, both professional and amateur. Orlando City SC is an American professional soccer club in Orlando, Florida, that competes as a member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). Orlando City SC began play in 2015 as the 21st franchise in MLS, succeeding the USL Pro team of the same name. MLS Reserve League
The MLS Reserve League was a soccer league for the reserve teams of Major League Soccer with teams in both the United States and Canada. It was inaugurated on April 9, 2005, with the first official reserve game being a 2–0 victory by Chivas USA over the host San Jose Earthquakes. The reserve division disbanded after the 2008 season but returned in 2011 with 18 clubs split into East, Central, and West divisions. Each club played ten games consisting of home-and-away matches versus each of its five divisional opponents. In 2013, the schedule of the MLS Reserve League was integrated with the schedule of the USL Pro, with teams from each league playing each other. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Darwin L. Jones (born April 4, 1992) is an American soccer player. Career Youth, College and Amateur Jones spent his youth career with Washington Premier FC and the Seattle Sounders FC Academy before beginning his college career at Highline College. In his only season with the Thunderbirds, Jones tallied 15 goals and 10 assists and led the team to the semifinals of the NWAC. On February 6, 2012, it was announced that Jones transferred to the University of Washington. However, on August 26, it was reported that Jones did not meet the state of Washington's Direct Transfer Agreement and would not play for the Huskies in 2012. He would join the Huskies in 2013 and in his two seasons with the team, he made a total of 37 appearances and tallied 15 goals and nine assists and helped lead the Huskies to a Pac-12 title in 2013. Whitecaps FC 2 is a professional soccer team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that serves as the reserve team of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer. Andrew Murray Craven (born January 21, 1992) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Craven began his college career at the College of Charleston. During his freshman year he lived in the McAlister dorm. In his first season with the Cougars, he made 18 appearances and tallied four goals and one assist on his way to being named Southern Conference Freshman of the Year. Sacramento Republic FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California, that plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship, the second level in US soccer. Ezra Hendrickson
Ezra Hendrickson (born 16 January 1972) is a Vincentian professional football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire. Born in Layou, Hendrickson moved with his family to the United States at a young age and played college soccer with the Drake Bulldogs.
