TaShawn Thomas (born February 27, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the Houston Cougars men's basketball, University of Houston and the Oklahoma Sooners men's basketball, University of Oklahoma before playing professionally in Germany, Italy, Israel, France and Australia. In 2019, he was named the Israeli Basketball State Cup, Israeli State Cup MVP and the Israeli Basketball Premier League Defensive Player of the Year, Israeli League Defensive Player of the Year. The Perth Wildcats are an Australian professional basketball team based in Perth, Western Australia. The Wildcats compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at RAC Arena, known colloquially as "The Jungle". After three years of strong lobbying to the NBL, the creation of a national basketball team in Perth finally occurred in 1982. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football.
