It is based on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) program '' Wide World of Sports'' and was released at the time of the program's 30th anniversary. One of the few magazines of the era to survive the video game crash of 1983, it was sold to Ziff Davis in 1993. ''Evander Holyfield's "Real Deal" Boxing'' is a boxing video game that was developed by ACME Interactive and published by Sega in 1992, released for the Mega Drive/Genesis and Game Gear consoles.
