TV Now Awards
The TV Now Awards (known presently for sponsorship reasons as the Walkers Sensations TV Now Awards) was an annual awards ceremony which took place in Ireland between 2006 and 2010. The awards celebrated television moments from the previous year, with their name being taken from the magazine ''TV Now'' which is published by Michael O'Doherty. The TV Now Awards were held annually at the Mansion House in Dublin. The event saw cast members of British soaps such as '' Coronation Street'', ''Emmerdale'', '' EastEnders'' and ''Hollyoaks'' flying to Ireland to be present and to collect their awards. Irish television personalities also featured; for example, in 2007 the event was attended by Kathryn Thomas, Lucy Kennedy and Caroline Morahan, all presenters of television shows on Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). Craig Doyle
Craig Doyle (born 17 December 1970, Dublin) is an Irish television and radio presenter. To British viewers he is recognisable as working for the BBC and ITV and more recently BT Sport. Irish viewers also know him as the host of RTÉ One chat show ''Tonight with Craig Doyle'' and RTÉ Two's'' Craig Doyle Live''. Gráinne Seoige (; born 5 November 1973) is an Irish journalist, news anchor and documentary and entertainment television presenter. A noted Irish language supporter, Seoige is the only television personality to have worked with all four Irish terrestrial television stations—TG4, TV3, RTÉ One and RTÉ2—and to have read the inaugural news bulletins on three separate channels—TG4, TV3, and Sky News Ireland. Lisa Ho (born 1960) is an Australian fashion designer born in Albury, on the New South Wales and Victorian border. Early life Ho began sewing at age 4 inspired by her grandmother of African descent, a tailor, whom Ho says she 'probably drove mad'. Ho made patterns out of newspaper and by age 10 had a sewing machine at the end of the kitchen table 'that nobody was allowed to move,' which she used every day to make things for herself and four sisters. Rosanna Diane Davison (born 17 April 1984) is an Irish actress, singer, writer, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World 2003. Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. The Eurovision Song Contest 1993 was the 38th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Harcourt Street is a street located in Dublin City, Ireland. Location It is a little over in length with its northerly start at the south-east corner of St Stephen's Green and terminates in the south at the point where Adelaide road becomes Harcourt Road, near Harcourt Terrace.
