TVB Korea Channel (TVBK, zh, TVB Korea頻道, ko, TVB 코리아) is a joint television channel of Central Multi-broadband (CMB) of South Korea and Hong Kong's Television Broadcasts (International) Limited (TVBI). The channel is broadcast in Korean. History TVB Korea Channel is a joint television channel with CMB and TVBI. The channel is mainly broadcast the television dramas which are produced by TVB that mostly are from Hong Kong. The channel is under testing since March 2008 and officially broadcasting since June 2008. For the coverage, around 9 million users of the cable TV users in South Korea for the channel. Program The audience are mainly Koreans as this channel broadcasts mostly Hong Kong TVB produced television dramas. Tseung Kwan O
Tseung Kwan O New Town is one of the nine new towns in Hong Kong, built mainly on reclaimed land in the northern half of Junk Bay (known as Tseung Kwan O in Chinese/Cantonese language) in southeastern New Territories, after which it is named. The town/land area is usually known simply as Tseung Kwan O. Development of the new town was approved in 1982, with the initial population intake occurring in 1988. As of 2016, the town is home to around 396,000 residents. The total development area of Tseung Kwan O, including its industrial estate, is about , with a planned population of 445,000. New Territories
The New Territories is one of the three main regions of Hong Kong, alongside Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula. It makes up 86.2% of Hong Kong's territory, and contains around half of the population of Hong Kong. Historically, it is the region described in the Convention for the Extension of Hong Kong Territory. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. TVB is headquartered at TVB City at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. TVB commenced broadcasting on November 19, 1967. The Company was incorporated on July 26, 1965 and was co-founded by Sir Run Run Shaw, who was Chairman from 1980 to 2011, together with Sir Douglas Clague and Harold Lee Hsiao-wo of the Lee Hysan family.
