TRT 4
TRT 4 was a Turkish television program. Before 2008, it was a TV station which broadcast cultural and educational programs in Turkey. Introduction TRT 4 started test transmissions in 1990 as "4. Kanal", and is now TRT's frequently watched TV station. In the past, the channel broadcast educational programs (correspondence courses). Afterward TRT 4 started broadcast the repeats of Turkish folk, documentaries and classical music programming. From 1 November 2008, its broadcast times are: 21:00 - 07:00 (EET) after the release of TRT Çocuk, It has many subprograms. TRT 4 logo replaced TRT Çocuk logo during the program. Currently TRT 4 shows programs of TRT Müzik channel. Close at night During late 2008 to late 2009, TRT 4 is only channel of TRT that close to the testcard at night. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. The ''576'' identifies a vertical resolution of 576 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an Interlaced video, interlaced resolution. Standard-definition Television
Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. The two common SDTV signal types are 576i, with 576 interlaced lines of resolution, derived from the European-developed PAL and SECAM systems, and 480i based on the American NTSC system. Common SDTV refresh rates are 25, 29.97 and 30 frames per second. Both systems use a 4:3 aspect ratio. Standards that support digital SDTV broadcast include DVB, ATSC, and ISDB. Kızılay, Ankara
Kızılay is a neighbourhood in Çankaya, Ankara, Turkey. It is named after the Kızılay Derneği (Turkish Red Crescent) whose headquarters used to be located at the Kızılay Square, its centre. Güvenpark in Kızılay has many trees and benches, while a metro station and a bus terminal nearby provide easy access to other parts of the city. On March 13, 2016, Kızılay suffered a terrorist bombing which killed 37 people and injured 125. The bombing took place on Atatürk Boulevard near Güvenpark. TRT Çocuk is a Turkish television station, part of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, which can also be received in Azerbaijan. It broadcasts a wide range of programming for children such as cartoons, drama and entertainment 24 hours a day. The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT; Turkish : ) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey. Before the introduction of commercial radio in 1990, and subsequently commercial television in 1992, it held a monopoly on broadcasting. More recent deregulation of the Turkish television broadcasting market produced analogue cable television.
