TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions
The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the professional wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It is contested for mainly by teams consisting of two female wrestlers in TNA, known as the TNA Knockouts; however, the championship was once held by a male. The current champions are Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat), who are in their first reign, both as a team and individually. The creation of the championship was announced on August 20, 2009, during a backstage segment on TNA's primary television program '' TNA Impact!''. Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won via the result of a scripted match. Sarita and Taylor Wilde were the inaugural champions. Bound for Glory (2007) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on October 14, 2007 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth, Georgia. It was the third event under the Bound for Glory chronology. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card. In October 2017, with the launch of the Global Wrestling Network, the event became available to stream on demand. It would later be available on Impact Plus in May 2019. Throughout its history, women have served in various onscreen roles in the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. In the 1990s, WWE (then known as the World Wrestling Federation) introduced the term Diva to refer to its female performers, including wrestlers, managers or valets, backstage interviewers, or ring announcers.
