Ali Ashfaq (; born 6 September 1985) is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as a forward and captains the Maldives national team. The 2017 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, also known as Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup 2017, was the 2nd edition of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, an international club football tournament hosted by the Chittagong Abahani in association with the Bangladesh Football Federation. The tournament took place at the M. A. Aziz Stadium from 18 February 2017 in the port city of Chittagong. TC Sports Club of Maldives became champion after beating Pocheon Citizen on penalty shoot-out. Dhivehi Premier League is a Maldivian men's professional football league. At the top of the Maldives football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 10 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Second Division Football Tournament.
