T2 Road (Zambia)
The T2 is a trunk road in Zambia. The road runs from the Tunduma border with Tanzania via Mpika, Kabwe and Lusaka to the Chirundu border with Zimbabwe. The road is the longest route of the country, as it is approximately . The entire route is a toll road. For its entire route, the T2 is known as Zambia's Great North Road and is part of the Cape to Cairo Road. Also, the section from Tanzania to Lusaka is known as the Tanzam Highway and the section from the T3 road junction in Kapiri Mposhi to the T1 road junction just after Kafue is part of the Walvis Bay-Ndola-Lubumbashi Development Road. Route The entire route forms Zambia's Great North Road and is part of the famed Cape to Cairo Road. Great North Road, Zambia
The Great North Road is a major route in Zambia, running north from Lusaka through Kabwe, Kapiri Mposhi (the road continues by way of a right turn just north of Kapiri Mposhi), Serenje, Mpika (where it makes a left turn), Kasama, Mbala and Mpulungu. 82km North of Mpika is a signposted right turn onto a well maintained gravel road leading to Shiwa Ng'andu (12km) and Kapishya Hot Springs (32km). The road from Zambia's border with Zimbabwe at Chirundu to Lusaka is now regarded as being part of the Great North Road; but this is only since the opening of the Chirundu Bridge in 1939 - before that, the Great North Road ran from Livingstone to Lusaka, as part of the original Cape to Cairo Red Line by Cecil John Rhodes. Shiwang'andu District

Chinsali
Chinsali is a town in Zambia, which is both the district headquarters of Chinsali District and provincial headquarters of Muchinga Province. Isoka
Isoka is a town located in the Muchinga Province of Zambia near the borders with Tanzania and Malawi. It lies on the T2 Road (Tanzam Highway; Great North Road). Area The area of the district now (2020) is 5,091 km2. The entire country is divided into administrative provinces, each sub-divided into districts, of which there are currently (2020) 116. Mafinga Hills
The Mafinga Hills are a plateau covered by hills, situated on the border between Zambia and Malawi, in Southern Africa. These hills are composed of quartzites, phyllites and feldspathic sandstones of sedimentary origin. This plateau has the highest point in Zambia at at Mafinga Central. It once formed a formidable barrier between the Northern and Eastern Provinces. Only very able 4-wheel drive vehicles are able to cross this area, especially during the rainy season. The shortest road link between the two provinces is now eased by the rehabilitation of the Isoka-Muyombe Road, which traverses their lower slopes. As Muyombe is the district capital of the newly formed Mafinga District, any expedition to the Mafinga Hills would be wise to use Muyombe as a starting point (two guesthouses are available). Iringa
Iringa is a city in Tanzania with a population of 151,345 (). It is situated at a latitude of 7.77°S and longitude of 35.69°E. The name is derived from the Hehe language, Hehe word ''lilinga'', meaning fort. Iringa is the administrative capital of Iringa Region. Walvis Bay-Ndola-Lubumbashi Development Road
The Walvis Bay-Ndola-Lubumbashi Development Road (previously ''Trans-Caprivi Corridor'' and until 2004 ''Trans-Caprivi-Highway'', accessed on 27 August 2014.) runs from Walvis Bay, through Rundu in north eastern Namibia, along the Caprivi Strip to Katima Mulilo on the Zambezi River, which forms the border between Namibia and Zambia. The Katima Mulilo Bridge spans the river to the Zambian town of Sesheke from where a recently upgraded paved road runs to Livingstone (the M10 Road) joining the main north–south highway to Lusaka, connecting onwards to the Copperbelt.
