Tête Aux Chamois
The Tête aux Chamois (2,525 m) is a summit of the Diablerets massif, overlooking the Col du Pillon in the canton of Vaud. It is accessible by aerial tramway from the Col du Pillon and from Reusch via Oldenegg (canton of Bern). From the summit of the Tête aux Chamois another aerial tramway leads to the summit of the Scex Rouge and the nearby Tsanfleuron Glacier. On the northern cliffs is a via ferrata. The mountain hut ''Cabane des Diablerets'', owned by the Swiss Alpine Club, is located on the saddle south of the summit (2,485 m). Diablerets
The Diablerets (french: Les Diablerets; lit. "the abode of devils") are a huge ice-covered mountain massif of the Alps, culminating at the Sommet des Diablerets (VD, VS) at above sea level and straddling the border between the Swiss cantons of Vaud (VD) and Valais (VS). The northeastern part of the massif stretches also into the canton of Bern (BE). The Diablerets massif, which consists of several peaks, extends for about 10 kilometres near the western extremity of the Bernese Alps, between the two deep passes, the Cheville Pass () right below the main summit to the south, and the Sanetsch/Sénin Pass () to the east. Aerial Tramway
An aerial tramway, sky tram, cable car, ropeway, aerial tram, telepherique, or seilbahn is a type of aerial lift which uses one or two stationary ropes for support while a third moving rope provides propulsion. With this form of lift, the grip of an aerial tramway cabin is fixed onto the propulsion rope and cannot be decoupled from it during operations. Col Du Pillon
Col du Pillon (el. 1546 m) is a mountain pass in the western Swiss Alps, linking Aigle, Le Sépey and Les Diablerets in the canton of Vaud with Gstaad in the canton of Berne. Scex Rouge
The Scex Rouge (also spelled ''Sex Rouge''; lit. "red rock"; ) is a mountain of the Alps, overlooking Les Diablerets in the canton of Vaud. Along with the Oldenhorn to the east, it is one of the main peaks of the Diablerets, a huge ice-covered mountain near the western end of the Bernese Alps, straddling the border between the cantons of Vaud, Valais, and Bern, and exceeding above sea level. On its west side, the Scex Rouge is part of a nearly amphitheatre of cliffs surrounding the Creux de Champ valley, south of Les Diablerets. On its southeast side, the Scex Rouge overlooks the Tsanfleuron Glacier, the largest in the massif. Tsanfleuron Glacier
The Tsanfleuron Glacier (french: Glacier de Tsanfleuron, german: Tsanfleurongletscher) is a long glacier (2005) situated in the western Bernese Alps in the cantons of Valais and Vaud in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of . It culminates at the Dôme, at approximately 3,000 metres above sea level, where it is separated from the Diablerets Glacier. The lowest point is at approx. 2,500 metres. The glacier is overlooked by the Scex Rouge and the Oldenhorn on the north, and by the Quille du Diable on the south. Most of the glacier is used as a ski area and is better known under the name of the company operating the ski area ''Glacier 3000'' or ''Glacier des Diablerets'' (the latter is in fact a nearby smaller glacier on the summit of the Diablerets).
