Tyrolean Jet Services (TJS) was established in 1978 as Austria's first executive air operator, operating business jets and management jets for Swarovski's Corporate Flight Department and for clients on the worldwide air charter market. History The company was founded in 1958 as Aircraft Innsbruck, by Christian Schwemberger-Swarovski and Gernot Langes-Swarovski. The division operated business flights. At this time Innsbruck had scheduled services to Zurich only. In 1978, the firm was renamed and restructured as Tyrolean Airways, combining airline, air ambulance and business travel operations. In April 1980, a de Havilland Canada Dash 7 flew the first scheduled flight from Innsbruck to Vienna and Zurich. Gulfstream G550
The Gulfstream G550 is a business jet aircraft produced by General Dynamics' Gulfstream Aerospace unit in Savannah, Georgia, US. The certification designation is GV-SP. A version with reduced fuel capacity was marketed as the G500. Gulfstream ceased production of the G550 in July 2021. Development The G550 (GV-SP) with improved engines received its FAA type certificate on August 14, 2003. In 2014, Gulfstream looked at a re-engine with the Rolls-Royce Pearl BR700 development announced in May 2018 for the new Global Express 5500 and 6500 variants but preferred the BR725-powered, 7,500 nmi G650. The Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 is a single-pilot-certified light business jet developed by the Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer. It can carry up to 11 occupants. Development Embraer began designing the Phenom 300 after finding that potential customers of the Phenom 100 would also like a bigger aircraft. The Cessna Citation III is an American business jet produced by Cessna and part of the Citation family. Announced at the October 1976 NBAA convention, the Model 650 made its maiden flight on May 30, 1979, received its type certification on April 30, 1982 and was delivered between 1983 and 1992. The cheaper Citation VI was produced from 1991 to 1995 and the more powerful Citation VII was offered between 1992 and 2000; 360 of all variants were delivered, while a proposed transcontinental variant, the Citation IV, was canceled before reaching the prototype stage. The Bombardier Global Express is a large cabin, 6,000 nmi / 11,100 km range business jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aviation (formerly Bombardier Aerospace).
