Tyrant (Resident Evil)
Tyrant is a species of fictional creatures in ''Resident Evil'' (''Biohazard'' in Japan), a survival horror video game series created by Japanese company Capcom. It was first introduced in the original ''Resident Evil'' (1996). Since their debut, the Tyrant series became one of the most recognizable and popular monsters and serve as antagonists of the franchise. Two particularly notable Tyrants are Nemesis, the titular antagonist of the video game '' Resident Evil 3: Nemesis'' (1999), and Mr. X from the remake of ''Resident Evil 2'' (2019). Character design Capcom artists went through a trial-and-error process designing the Tyrant creatures and their transformations. For example, the T-103 was originally envisioned as armed with firearms; in some sketches, it can be seen wearing a respirator and various armored outfits instead of a trenchcoat (there were also other types of coats, including a lab coat), and even its overall physical build has varied greatly (from very slim to ...

''Resident Evil 2'' is a 2019 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. A remake of the 1998 game ''Resident Evil 2'', it was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in January 2019 and for Amazon Luna, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in June 2022, and a Nintendo Switch cloud version released in November 2022. Capcom first considered remaking ''Resident Evil 2'' following the release of the remake of the first ''Resident Evil'' in 2002, but was delayed as series creator Shinji Mikami did not want to divert development from the then-upcoming ''Resident Evil 4'' (2005). Capcom announced the ''Resident Evil 2'' remake in August 2015 and released the first trailer and gameplay footage at E3 2018. ''Resident Evil 2'' received praise for it ...

Biological Warfare
Biological warfare, also known as germ warfare, is the use of biological toxins or infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, insects, and fungi with the intent to kill, harm or incapacitate humans, animals or plants as an act of war. Biological weapons (often termed "bio-weapons", "biological threat agents", or "bio-agents") are living organisms or replicating entities ( ''i.e.'' viruses, which are not universally considered "alive"). Entomological (insect) warfare is a subtype of biological warfare. Offensive biological warfare is prohibited under customary international humanitarian law and several international treaties. In particular, the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) bans the development, production, acquisition, transfer, stockpiling and use of biological weapons. Therefore, the use of biological agents in armed conflict is a war crime. In contrast, defensive biological research for prophylactic, protective or other peaceful purposes is not proh ...

Bioelectromagnetism
Bioelectromagnetics, also known as bioelectromagnetism, is the study of the interaction between electromagnetic fields and biological entities. Areas of study include electromagnetic fields produced by living cells, tissues or organisms, the effects of man-made sources of electromagnetic fields like mobile phones, and the application of electromagnetic radiation toward therapies for the treatment of various conditions. Biological phenomena Bioelectromagnetism is studied primarily through the techniques of electrophysiology. In the late eighteenth century, the Italian physician and physicist Luigi Galvani first recorded the phenomenon while dissecting a frog at a table where he had been conducting experiments with static electricity. Galvani coined the term ''animal electricity'' to describe the phenomenon, while contemporaries labeled it galvanism. Galvani and contemporaries regarded muscle activation as resulting from an electrical fluid or substance in the nerves. Short-liv ...
