Two Loons for Tea are a musical duo consisting of singer Sarah Scott and instrumentalist Jonathan Kochmer. Formed in Seattle in 1999, they have released three albums on Sarathan Records. Their first album was an eponymous release in 2001, followed by Looking for Landmarks in 2002. In 2007 they released Nine Lucid Dreams, which was nominated for best pop/rock album of 2008 in the Independent Music Awards. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. Downtempo
Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music. Closely related to ambient music but with greater emphasis on rhythm, the style may be played in chillout clubs or as "warm-up or cool-down" music during a DJ set.
