Dick Hatton (born Clarence Edward Hatton, 1891 - July 9, 1931) was an American actor in silent films. He had leading roles in productions from various studios including Arrow Pictures and Rayart Pictures films including '' Temporary Sheriff''. Hatton was born in Kentucky. He died at age 40 after an automobile accident. Marilyn Mills
Marilyn Mills (1903 – 1956) was a Dutch-born American film actress of the silent era, described on theater marquees as "The Beautiful Marilyn Mills". She also produced two of her films. Mills' father managed a large bakery in Los Angeles. Before she became a film star, Mills worked as a stunt double, including riding for Mary Pickford in the film ''Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall''. She also performed with her horses in the Al G. Barnes Circus. Mills was married to J. Charles Davis, who worked in advertising and had his own film production company. Arrow Film Corporation was an American film production and distribution company during the silent era from 1915 to 1926. An independent company it operated alongside the established studios. Originally formed to supply films for Pathé Exchange, the company quickly separated and concentrated on a mixture of medium and low-budget productions.Ward p. 20. Arthur George Morrison (1 November 1863 – 4 December 1945) was an English writer and journalist known for realistic novels, for stories about working-class life in the East End of London, and for detective stories featuring a specific detective, Martin Hewitt. He also collected Japanese art and published several works on the subject. Much of his collection entered the British Museum, through purchase and bequest. Morrison's best known work of fiction is his novel ''A Child of the Jago'' (1896). Early life Morrison was born on 1 November 1863 in Poplar in the East End of London.
