Tshering Dorji (cricketer)
Tshering Dorji aka ''Tshagay'' (born 11 September 1995) is a Bhutanese professional footballer who plays for Thimphu City FC as a midfielder. Dorji is best known for the late goal he scored against Sri Lanka, which gave Bhutan their first ever win in the World Cup qualification. As of March 2015, he was studying at the Royal Thimphu College as a first year student. Club career South United On 20 December 2018, it was announced that Tshering Dorji signed for Bengaluru-based club South United FC, which plays in the I-League 2nd Division, the tried tier of Indian football. Madhya Bharat In 2019, he joined the newly formed club from Bhopal, Madhya Bharat SC, which has earlier played in the 2017–18 season of the I-League 2nd Division. Thimphu City FC
Thimphu City FC is a Bhutanese professional football club based in Thimphu that competes in the Bhutan Premier League, the top level of football in Bhutan. Founded in 2012, they qualified for the inaugural Bhutan National League in the same year. Formerly known as ''Zimdra FC'', the club was refounded as ''Thimphu City FC'' in 2012 and again qualified for the 2013 Bhutan National League, finishing second behind eventual winners Yeedzin. They have won the Thimphu League and the first National League title in 2016. They also have a futsal section. 2015 SAFF Championship
The 2015 SAFF Championship (officially known as the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organized by SAFF. It was held in India from 23 December 2015 to 3 January 2016. Heading into the tournament, Afghanistan were the defending champions of the tournament, with it also being the last time they can officially take part, as they have become members of the newly formed Central Asian Football Association. Originally scheduled to take place in July 2015, monsoon season and schedule congestion led to the tournament being postponed to late December. The Sports Hub, Trivandrum, commonly known as Greenfield International Stadium, and formerly known as Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kerala, used mainly for cricket. Changlimithang Stadium
Changlimithang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, which serves as the national stadium. It is predominantly used for football matches and is the home of the Bhutan national football team, other national selections and number of Thimphu-based football clubs. Sugathadasa Stadium
Sugathadasa Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is currently used for football, rugby union, and athletics. The stadium holds 25,000 people and has an on-site hotel. History The concept of an outdoor sporting stadium was initially raised by V. A.
