"Truth" is a song by Azerbaijani singer Chingiz Mustafayev. It represented Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. It was performed during the second semi-final held on 16 May 2019, and qualified for the final, where it finished in eighth place with 302 points. Chingiz Mustafayev (singer)
Chingiz Mustafayev ( az, Çingiz Mustafayev; born 11 March 1991) is an Azerbaijani singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He represented Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Truth", finishing in eighth place. Early life Mustafayev was born in Moscow and moved to his parents' native Qazax, Azerbaijan when he was six years old. He learned to play the guitar and started composing his own songs while still a young boy. Career At age 13, he moved with his mother and his brother to Baku where he auditioned for the Azerbaijani version of ''Pop Idol'' in 2007. Mustafayev won the competition, and soon became a rising star in the Azerbaijani music industry. Borislav Georgiev Milanov ( bg, Борислав Георгиев Миланов; pseudonym: B-OK) is a Bulgarian music composer, songwriter and record producer known for his work on the Eurovision Song Contest. Equinox was a supergroup of five artists that represented Bulgaria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song "Bones", coming 14th with 166 points. Equinox was the first Bulgarian band with a contract with Universal. The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
