Truck (album)
The double album ''Truck'' is the fourth album by the Dutch singer and multi-instrumentalist Jett Rebel. It was released on January 22, 2016 and is the first of three albums that Jett Rebel has released within the year. The second album: ''Don't Die On Me Now'' was specially released as a surprise act at Lowlands on August 20, 2016; the official release was on August 26. The third album: ''Super Pop'' at Eurosonic Noorderslag January 13, 2017. The three albums are separate, but are connected like a triptych, ''the Experimentalist'', ''the Musician'' and ''the Composer''. The first and only single "It's Cruel" was released on January 15, 2016. The music video appeared on YouTube on January 25, 2016. On January 4, MTV Nederland announced the album as one of the 8 most popular upcoming albums of 2016. Jett Rebel is the stage name of Dutch musician Jelte Steven Tuinstra (born January 24, 1991, in Den Haag). Tuinstra is a singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist. The moniker Jett Rebel refers to a solo artist who performs live in different band formations in the Dutch music scene. Background Tuinstra was born on January 24, 1991, in Den Haag. His parents played in socialist music groups and choirs ('' Verenigde Oost Nederlandse Kompanjie'', also known as VONK) with which they also performed demonstrations against racism, nuclear energy, and weapons. At a fairly young age, Tuinstra moved 1993 from Den Haag to Baarn. Despite the distance, the family went to Hengelo every sunday to rehearse. ''Don't Die On Me Now'' is the fifth studio album by Dutch singer and multi-instrumentalist Jett Rebel. It was specially released at the Lowlands festival on August 20, 2016. The album was played in full. Festival visitors could already buy a copy of the new album, which was not available anywhere else, not even on streaming services. The official release date was one week later, on August 26, 2016. Title The title of the album stands for the real music. Wisseloord Studios
The Wisseloord Studio is a recording studio in Hilversum, Netherlands. It was officially opened on 19 January 1978 by Prince Claus of the Netherlands, Prince Claus. The studios were founded by electronics company Philips, to enable their PolyGram artists to record in a professional environment. Initially there were three studios, nowadays there are five. In the early days the studios were mainly used by Dutch artists.
