Trouble In Paradise (TV Series)
''Trouble in Paradise'' is an Australian television documentary series on the Nine Network which first aired at on Thursday, 25 June 2009. The series is narrated by journalist Liam Bartlett and actress Brooke Satchwell, and chronicles the harrowing experiences of Australians travelling on their holidays. ''Trouble in Paradise'' features six edited stories from a similar British series, ''My Holiday Hostage Hell'' (which is broadcast in Australia on the Crime & Investigation Network), and six originally-produced stories. Each episode consists of two stories, and six episodes have been produced. The show was axed from the Nine Network's schedule after three of the six episodes had aired. Liam Bartlett
Liam Bartlett (born 30 June 1961) is an Australian journalist and reporter, best known for his career in radio and television. Career Born in Perth, Western Australia, previously, Bartlett had a six-year stint with ABC radio station 720 ABC Perth, presenting the morning program. He had previously worked for STW 9 in Perth and GWN in Bunbury as a news anchor and reporter. He worked for a time at 3SR in Shepparton in Victoria and Triple M in Sydney. While working on Perth radio stations, he was also a columnist for the News Corporation newspaper ''The Sunday Times''. Brooke Kerith Satchwell (born 1980) is an Australian actress, model and environmental spokesperson. Early life Satchwell lived in Teesdale, Victoria, for most of her life and has one sibling. She attended Toorak College. Career Satchwell started acting in 1994 when a casting agent suggested she model in a few television advertisements. She also appeared in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation musical ''Harriet''. After she had completed work on an advertisement for Just Jeans, a make-up artist advised Satchwell to get an agent. A year later she successfully auditioned for the role of Anne Wilkinson in the daily television soap opera ''Neighbours'', which she played for five years. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed.
