Troisième Voie
Third Way (french: Troisième voie) is a French Third Position organization founded in 1985 by a merger of the small neo-fascist group (English: National Revolutionary Movement), which gathered former members of François Duprat's Revolutionary Nationalist Groups, with dissidents from the Party of New Forces. Led by Jean-Gilles Malliarakis, the party adopted the slogan of "neither trusts nor soviets" ("") and stood against communism, capitalism, and Zionism. It used a trident as its emblem. For a time the party was associated with the Groupe Union Défense but maintained a generally poor relationship with the Front National (FN). This was the case until 1991 when Malliarakis decided to approach the FN, leading to a schism within the party from those who felt the FN did not conform to their way of thinking. Third Position
The Third Position is a set of neo-fascist political ideologies that were first described in Western Europe following the Second World War. Developed in the context of the Cold War, it developed its name through the claim that it represented a third position between the capitalism of the Western Bloc and the communism of the Eastern Bloc. Between the 1920s and 1940s, various dissident groups presented themselves as part of a movement distinct from both capitalism and Marxist socialism. This idea was revived by various political groups following the Second World War. The rhetoric of the "Third Position" developed among Terza Posizione in Italy and Troisième Voie in France; in the 1980s, it was taken up by the National Front in the United Kingdom. Groupe Union Défense
Groupe Union Défense (originally named ''Groupe Union Droit''), better known as GUD, is a French far-right students' union formed in the 1960s. After a period of inactivity it relaunched in 2022. The GUD was based in Panthéon-Assas University, a law school in Paris. Brest (; ) is a port city in the Finistère department, Brittany. Rebelles Européens
Rebelles Européens was a French independent record label that operated between 1987 and 1994, specialising in white power rock and Rock Against Communism. Based in the port city of Brest, the label was founded by Gaël Bodilis, a member of far-right groups including the Front Nationale Jeunesse, Troisième Voie, and PNFE. Rebelles Européens was, alongside German label Rock-O-Rama Records, a key player within the international white power skinhead music scene during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Nouvelle Résistance
Nouvelle Résistance (NR) was a French far-right group created in August 1991 by Christian Bouchet as an offshoot of '' Troisième Voie'' (Third Way), which was headed by Bouchet. Dissolved in 1997, NR described themselves as "national revolutionary" and part of the National Bolshevism international movement. It succeeded to the '' Troisième voie'' and Jeune Europe, a movement created in the 1960s by Jean-François Thiriart. NR was both anti-Communist and anti-capitalist as well as ecofascist. Christian Bouchet (born 17 January 1955) is a French far-right journalist and politician.
