Triveni (poetry)
Triveni is a form of Hindi/Urdu poetry initiated by the poet Gulzar. Unlike sher, a triveni consists of three "hemistichs" (''misras''). The first two are complete in themselves but the addition of the third misra gives a new dimension. Rupa & Co. has published his poetry book Triveni. Triveni ( ne, त्रिवेणी नगरपालिका) is a municipality in Bajura district in the Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. It was formed in March 2017 as decided by the Cabinet in line with the Constitution of Nepal 2015, recommended by the Local Bodies Restructuring Commission (LBRC). It is formed by merging previous 3 Village development committee (Nepal), VDCs named Kailashmandau, Chhatara, Bajura, Chhatara and Tolidewal. It is divided into nine wards. It has Kalikot District in the East, Budhiganga Municipality in the West, Badimalika Municipality in the North and Accham District in the South. The population of this municipality is 18,363 of which 8,631 are male and 9,732 are female. The total number of households is 3,350. Triveni Express (15075) is an express train (also known as the "Queen of Sonbhadra") in India that runs from Shaktinagar/Singrauli (Sonbhadra) to Tanakpur via Chopan, Mirzapur, Vindhyachal, Allahabad, Lucknow and Shahjahanpur. It is categorized under the Mail/Express category of Indian Railways. The name "Triveni" signifies the Triveni Sangam (the meeting pointing of three rivers) of the Ganges, the Yamuna and the (invisible) Saraswati at Prayag (Allahabad), a station on the train's route. At first, the train ran from Lucknow to Allahabad. Later the train route was extended to Bareily via Sandila, Hardoi and Shahjahanpur. From 27 February 2019, it will run up to Tanakpur (Uttarakhand). A sacred tree is a tree which is considered to be sacred, or worthy of spiritual respect or reverence. Triveni Acharya
Triveni Acharya is an Indian journalist and activist living in Mumbai, best known for her work with the anti-sex-trafficking group the ''Rescue Foundation''. The group was founded by her husband, Balkrishna Acharya, but Triveni Acharya assumed its presidency following his death in a car accident in 2005. The organization is devoted to the "rescue, rehabilitation and repatriation of victims for human trafficking from different parts of India, Nepal & Bangladesh and sold for forced prostitution", and has been conducting "brothel raids" since 1993. The organization frees roughly 300 girls a year, and also provides counseling, job training, and HIV testing. Because these raids often result in serious financial loss or imprisonment for sex traffickers, Acharya has received several death threats as the result of her work. Lieutenant Triveni Singh (1 February 1978 - 2 January 2004) was an Officer of the Indian Army from 5 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra Award, India's highest peacetime award, for his actions in the terrorist attack on Jammu Railway Station on January 2, 2004. Anasuya Shankar
Anasuya Shankar (1 September 1928 – 29 July 1963), popularly known by her pen name as Triveni, was an Indian writer of modern fiction in Kannada language. Her novels have been made into feature films, most prominently, ''Belli Moda'' (1967)'' and Sharapanjara'' (1971) – both directed by Puttanna Kanagal and featuring actress Kalpana.
