''Triple Trouble'' is a two-reel American silent comedy film that was released in 1918. It stars Charlie Chaplin, Edna Purviance, and Leo White. This film was not an official Chaplin film, even though it has many Chaplin-directed scenes; after he left the studio,Essanay edited it together using outtakes and newly shot footage directed by Leo White. It had already been established in court that Chaplin had no legal control over the films made during his time with Essanay and could not prevent its release. ''Triple Trouble'' is a 1950 comedy film directed by Jean Yarbrough and starring The Bowery Boys. The film was released on August 13, 1950, by Monogram Pictures and is the nineteenth film in the series. Plot The boys are on their way home from a masquerade party when they hear noises in a warehouse and decide to investigate. They find the warehouse is being robbed and they are mistakenly captured by the police and sentenced for robbing it. Gabe, as their lawyer, gets them off with just probation but Slip insists that he and Sach accept jail time in order to find out who is behind the series of robberies in the neighborhood. He deduces that the instructions are being sent from inside the prison via a short wave radio. Upon entering the prison they are mistaken for notorious criminals and make fast friends with the masterminds behind the robberies. "Triple Trouble" is a song by the American hip hop group Beastie Boys, released as the second single from their sixth studio album ''To the 5 Boroughs''. It heavily samples "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang, and interpolates lyrics from "Double Trouble at the Amphitheatre" by Double Trouble. The music video for "Triple Trouble" was directed by MCA (musician), MCA, under his alias Nathaniel Hornblower and filmed in Toronto. Kanye West and John Legend made cameos at the end of the video.
