Treuchtlingen Station
Treuchtlingen station is now the only station in the town of Treuchtlingen in the German state of Bavaria. The town used also to have stations at Graben, Möhren, Gundelsheim and Wettelsheim. Treuchtlingen station has seven platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. The station is served by about 110 trains daily operated by DB Regio and DB long-distance. The station is a railway junction on the Nuremberg–Augsburg, Ingolstadt–Treuchtlingen and Treuchtlingen–Würzburg lines. Location The station is located in northern Treuchtlingen. It is bordered to the west by Wettelsheimer Straße and to the east by Bahnhofsstraße, which is also the location of the entrance building. The (VGN; Transport Association Region Nuremberg) is the transit authority of the city of Nuremberg, the second largest city of the German state of Bavaria. Platform Display
A platform display, destination display or train describer (British English) is supplementing the destination sign on arriving trains giving passengers an advance information. Historically they did only show the next destination and sometimes the type of train. In later usage they were replaced by passenger information display systems (PIDS) allowing for real-time passenger information. The first railway stations had only a time table for passenger information. On larger stations the train porters would help passengers to board the correct train matching with their ticket. They were supervised by a station manager that would handle the security requirements for each departing train. The first help in that task was a bell to remind passengers to board the train in time which on smaller stations does also announce the next train. München Hauptbahnhof or Munich Central Station is the main railway station in the city of Munich, Germany. Augsburg Hauptbahnhof
Augsburg Hauptbahnhof is the main railway station in the Bavarian city of Augsburg, situated in southern Germany. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 2 station and has 12 platform tracks. Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe is a railway station in the city of Kassel, in the German state of Hesse. It is the city's most important railway station, as it is connected to the Hanover-Würzburg high-speed rail line, with InterCityExpress services calling at the station. Göttingen Station
Göttingen railway station, known in German as Bahnhof Göttingen, is an InterCityExpress stop on Germany's domestic long-distance rail network and the only passenger station of the city of Göttingen.
