Tree Of Palme
is a 2002 Japanese anime film, written and directed by Takashi Nakamura. It was an official selection of the 2002 Berlin Film Festival. Story ''A Tree of Palme'' can be seen as a distant allusion of the 1883 novel ''The Adventures of Pinocchio'' by Carlo Collodi Carlo Lorenzini (24 November 1826 – 26 October 1890), better known by the pen name Carlo Collodi (), was an Italian author, humourist, and journalist, widely known for his fairy tale novel ''The Adventures of Pinocchio''. Early life Co .... It concerns a small puppet, Palme, who was tasked by his creator to look over his ailing wife, Xian. After her death, Palme is visited by a mysterious woman whom he mistakenly believes to be Xian. Shaken out of his sadness, Palme accepts her request to deliver something special to a far-off place known as Tama. Takashi Nakamura
is an accomplished Japanese animator and anime director. He is also a founding member of the Japan Animation Creators Association (JAniCA) labor group. Andy McAvin
Andrew Mark McAvin (born January 4, 1952) is an American voice actor with nearly 80 credits to his resume. He also appeared in over 120 professional theatrical productions including Broadway musicals. He does voice work in anime dubs for ADV Films and Seraphim Digital. One of his most prominent roles was the genocidal villain Brian J. Mason in ''Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040'', the voice type of which is referred to by cast and crew-mates as the "slime that walks like a man" voice. He also did voice work for the '' AD Police: To Serve and Protect'' spin off and for '' Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris''.
