Sven Methling
Sven Johan Methling (or Sven Methling Jr.) (20 September 1918 – August 7, 2005) was a Danish film director and screenwriter. The son of actor and film director Svend Methling, Methling Jr. was best known for a series of light-hearted comedies. His 1959 comedy ''Vi er allesammen tossede'' (''All of us are Crazy'') received the Bodil Award for Best Danish Film. Methling also received the Bodil Award for Best Danish Film for the 1955 war drama ''Der kom en dag'' (''There Will Come a Day''). Career Sven Johan Methling was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on 20 September 1918. As the son of film director Svend Methling, Methling Jr. was born into the film industry. He started work as a sound assistant with Palladium Films from 1940 to 1945. In 1944, Methling performed the leading role in the drama ''Det Store Ansvar'' (''The Great Responsibility''), directed by his father. Preben Philipsen (18 January 1910 – 21 September 2005) was a Danish film producer. He produced 41 films between 1949 and 1975, and co-founded Constantin Film with Waldfried Barthel ( de) in 1950. Poul Reichhardt
Poul David Reichhardt (2 February 1913 – 31 October 1985) was a Danish actor, well known for his roles in Danish 1940s/1950s comedies. Later on, he also played more serious and varied roles; he has also starred in '' Huset på Christianshavn'', ''Matador'' and as various minor characters in the '' Olsen-banden'' films. For almost thirty years Reichhardt was a leading Danish heroic charmer in movies and partly also on stage. His acting debut was in 1931 as an extra in the play ''Styrmand Karlsens flammer'' in Nørrebros Theater. Helle Genie Virkner née Lotinga (15 September 1925 – 10 June 2009) was a Danish actress, author and spouse of Prime Minister Jens Otto Krag Personal life Helle Genie Lotinga was born in Aarhus to Jewish rentier Moritz “Morris” Lotinga and Ellen Larsine (née Rasmussen) Her parents divorced when she was 5, at which point she moved with her mother from Ry to Copenhagen.
