Travelling Man (TV Series)
''Travelling Man'' is a Granada television series, TV series broadcast in the United Kingdom in 1984 and 1985. Created and written by Roger Marshall (screenwriter), Roger Marshall, one of the original writers of ''The Avengers (TV series), The Avengers'', the series starred Leigh Lawson as Lomax and Lindsay Duncan as his girlfriend. Broadcast in the 9pm slot on ITV, the series drew audiences of up to 13.2 million. Each episode had its own story, within an overarching plot of Lomax searching for his missing son and hunting down those who framed him. Series one On his release from prison, Lomax finds his wife has emigrated and is suing him for divorce. His son Steve has gone missing. Tony Doyle (actor)
Michael Anthony Doyle (21 July 1935 – 28 January 2000) was an Irish television and film actor. He became widely known in Ireland as a then-radical priest in the popular Irish rural drama ''The Riordans'', which began in 1965. He worked consistently in series, television films, and feature films throughout his life. He died unexpectedly in 2000, at the time playing in another well-known Irish rural drama, ''Ballykissangel''. Acting career He first came to prominence playing a liberal Catholic priest - Father Sheehy - in RTÉ's iconic rural drama ''The Riordans''. Duncan Browne
Duncan John Browne (25 March 1947 – 28 May 1993) was an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is most remembered for his moderate hit single "Journey," which peaked at No. 23 in the U.K in 1972, and its corresponding 1973 album Duncan Browne, which has since garnered a cult status among fans of 1970s folk rock. Early life Browne was born on 25 March 1947, the only child of Air Commodore C. D. A. Browne. He initially intended to follow his father into the Royal Air Force but was turned down on health grounds while at the Worksop College. At school he was a promising schoolboy actor and clarinetist. Career Browne attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, studying both music theory and drama. He chose to become a musician when, in 1967, he met Andrew Loog Oldham, and signed with his Immediate Records label. His debut album ''Give Me Take You'' was issued in 1968. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings.
