''The Mountain'' is the ninth studio album by American country music artist Dierks Bentley. It was released on June 8, 2018 by Capitol Records Nashville. It features the singles "Woman, Amen", "Burning Man" (a duet with Brothers Osborne) and "Living". The album was co-produced by Jon Randall and Ross Copperman. Content Bentley wrote 10 of the 13 songs on the album. Most of it was written after he performed at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colorado. He recorded it at the Studio in the Clouds in that town in November 2017. According to Bentley, the album mixes the bluegrass influence of his 2010 album ''Up on the Ridge'' with the rock music influence of his previous disc, 2016's ''Black''. "Trav'lin' Light" is a 1942 song composed by Trummy Young and Jimmy Mundy with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. Background When Whiteman and his band arrived at Capitol Records' studio for a recording session, Trummy Young brought along his girlfriend, Billie Holiday. Songwriter Johnny Mercer, one of the co-founders of the new label, discovered that Young had a newly written tune with him. Mercer quickly wrote lyrics for it and gave it a title so Holiday could record it with the band. The record label identified the singer as 'Lady Day,' Holiday's nickname, because she was under contract with another label. "Travellin' Light" is a UK No. 1 single recorded by Cliff Richard and The Shadows and released in 1959. It was the follow-up single to Richard's first No. 1, " Living Doll" and remained at No. 1 for five weeks (one less than "Living Doll"). "Travellin' Light" was also a Number 1 hit in Ireland and Norway, selling 1.59 million copies worldwide. It was Richard's last single of the 1950s and his first release after the Shadows had changed their name from the Drifters (so as to not conflict with the American band of the same name). ''Tindersticks'' is the second album by the British alternative band Tindersticks, released in 1995. It is often referred to as ''The Second Tindersticks Album'' to distinguish it from the band's first album, which was also called ''Tindersticks''. It reached no. 13 in the UK Album Chart. On 17 September 2006, the album was performed live in its entirety at the Barbican Centre in London, as part of the All Tomorrow's Parties-curated Don't Look Back series. The concert was the last time the original six members of Tindersticks played together.
