Trauma (1962 Film)
''Trauma'' is a 1962 American film directed by Robert M. Young (screenwriter), Robert M. Young and starring Lynn Bari and John Conte (actor), John Conte. Plot Eight years after her aunt Helen Garrison is killed, newlywed niece Emmaline and husband Warren return to the home where Helen died, where Emmaline tries to recall events from that fateful night that her mind has blacked out. Suspicious figures lurk throughout the house, and even Warren ends up placed under arrest by treasury agents. It ultimately turns out that Luther, a caretaker, committed one murder years ago, then killed eyewitness Helen to ensure her silence. Robert Charles Totten (February 5, 1937 – January 27, 1995) was an American television director, writer, and actor, best known for directing many ''Gunsmoke'' episodes between 1966 and 1971. Career In addition to directing, Totten also co-starred in ''Gunsmoke'' playing the role of Corley, opposite of Nehemiah Persoff, in the 1969 episode "The Mark of Cain," among other roles. As director, writer, and actor, Totten is a member all three guilds; the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild.
