The Gorzów Wielkopolski tram system is a tram system in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland, that has been in operation since 1899. The system is operated by (MZK Gorzów Wielkopolski). Currently, Gorzów Wielkopolski has four tram lines. Lines History The network opened in 1899 in the city then known as . Damages in World War II resulted in the replacement of trams with trolleybuses from 1941 until 1947, with tram services being reinstated afterwards. From October 1, 2017, all services were suspended in order to modernize the network. Trial runs began on April 16, 2020. Regular services on line 1 resumed from July 2, 2020. Since October 26, 2020, the trams terminate at the Dowgielewiczowej stop to allow the extension of the line to Gen. Emila Fieldorfa-Nila to be built. Pesa Twist is an articulated low floor tram produced in Bydgoszcz by Pesa SA. The Twist is currently operated in Częstochowa, Metropolis GZM, Kyiv, Kraków, Wrocław, Craiova and Tallinn. The Konstal 105Na are a class of Polish trams manufactured from 1979 to 1992 in workshops Konstal Chorzów, Poland. The Metre-gauge railway, metre-gauge version is designated as 805Na. As of 2016 they were still the most common trams in Poland. Construction 105Na is unidirectional motor tramcar, equipped with four doors. It is a development of the earlier Konstal 105N. The main changes being a shift in the location of the electrical equipment from under the steps to the back wall of the driver's cabin, the introduction of a separate cabin for the driver, as well as the removal of the small windows under the front and side windscreens.
