Torturer (band)
Torturer is a death/ thrash metal band, formed in 1989 in Santiago, Chile. The band is one of the most recognized Chilean metal bands beyond Chile's borders. History Founding The group was founded in May 1989 by bassist and vocalist, Francisco Cautín. Infest records In 1990, the band recorded its first demo, ''Kingdom of the Dark''. and, two years later, signed a deal with the French label, Infest Records, subsequently recording the debut album, ''Oppressed by the Force''. In 1995, the band recorded and released an EP in Spanish, entitled ''Los Últimos Tiempos''. New members In March 1997, drummer Martín Valenzuela, with guitarists Sebastián Morales and Francisco Garcés, joined the band. In June 1998, with its new lineup, Torturer featured alongside Kreator (Germany), demonstrating its musical abilities to more than 3000 audience members. Pentagram (Chilean Band)
Pentagram Chile (previously known as Pentagram) is an extreme metal band from Chile, formed in 1985. They were part of the first wave of extreme metal in the mid 1980s, along with bands like Possessed, Celtic Frost, Sepultura and others. Considered as a very influential band in the black metal and death metal genres, they have influenced bands like At the Gates, Dismember, Napalm Death and Avulsed among others. Early years (1985—1987) Their first live performance was on December 28, 1985. Kreator
Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Essen, formed in 1982. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Miland "Mille" Petrozza, drummer Jürgen "Ventor" Reil, lead guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö, and bassist Frédéric Leclercq. The band's lineup has changed multiple times over its -year career, most noticeably with their bassists and lead guitarists. Petrozza and Reil are the only two original members left in Kreator, although the latter took a break from the band from 1994 to 1996. Yli-Sirniö has been the lead guitarist of Kreator since 2001, while Leclercq joined in 2019 as the replacement of Christian "Speesy" Giesler, who had been a member of the band since 1994. Sadus is an American thrash metal band from Antioch, California, active from 1985 to 2015, and reunited in 2017.
