Tomo In Der Mühlen
Tomo Johannes in der Mühlen aka Tom Tom or DJ Tomo is a German DJ, Producer and recording artist based in New York City and Zagreb. Early life Tomo In der Mühlen was born in Braunschweig and lives in New York City and Zagreb. Both of his parents, Johannes Willhelm in der Mühlen and Stana Kovačić in der Mühlen were architects. He studied at MIOC XV Gymnasium computer science and continued at Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb studying mathematics. In der Mühlen started as a computer animation designer and coder for the quiz show ''Kviskoteka'' hosted by Oliver Mlakar, which aired from 1977 to 1980s on Hrvatska radiotelevizija, and later briefly aired on Nova TV. Techno is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set, with tempo often varying between 120 and 150 beats per minute (bpm). Fifteenth Gymnasium ( hr, XV. gimnazija, Petnaesta gimnazija), previously called, and still better known as MIOC (Matematičko informatički obrazovni centar; Mathematical Informatical Educational Center) is a public high school in Zagreb, Croatia. Josipa Lisac
Josipa Lisac (; born 14 February 1950) is a Croatian pop rock singer. Biography During the 1960s, Lisac was the vocalist of the group Zlatni Akordi. Her first solo album, '' Dnevnik jedne ljubavi'' (''The Diary of a Love''), recorded in 1973, was a huge success and remains today one of the most legendary albums in Croatia. Journalist and producer Peca Popović noted that ''Dnevnik jedne ljubavi'' was also only the fourth rock record and the first female-fronted record released in Yugoslavia. ''Gubec-beg'' was the first Croatian rock opera where Josipa had the demanding role of Jana. Cacadou Look
Cacadou Look was a five-piece pop rock band from Opatija, Croatia that was the first Yugoslav all-female band to release a long play record. Cacadou Look was formed in Opatija in 1983. They were not the first all-female band in Yugoslavia — at the time, already active were Tožibabe from Ljubljana and Boye from Novi Sad — but they were the first to achieve a degree of mainstream popularity, helped by radio play of their two demo tracks, "Sama" and "Kao pjesma" (both 1987), and by TV appearances such as those on ''Stereovizija'', a popular 1980s music show broadcast by Radio Television Zagreb. Their first album ''Tko mari za čari'' (Jugoton, 1987) was produced by Husein Hasanefendić and Tomo in der Mühlen, and featured a guest appearance by Vlada Divljan. Haustor
Haustor ( hr, Hallway or front door) was a Yugoslav rock band from Zagreb, SR Croatia, a member of the new wave movement, and an important act of the former Yugoslav rock scene. History The basis of the band was formed in 1977, when singer and occasional guitarist Darko Rundek met bassist Srđan Sacher. Two years later they formed Haustor, together with Ozren Štiglić (guitar) and Boris Leiner (drums), who also played in another prominent Yugoslav rock band Azra. During 1980 they added Zoran Vuletić (keyboard) and a brass section. The group was mostly influenced by Caribbean music. Haustor released its self-titled debut album in 1981. Parni Valjak
Parni Valjak (; "steamroller") is a Croatian and former Yugoslav rock band. They were one of the top acts of the former Yugoslav rock scene, and one of the top rock bands in Croatia. Biography Parni Valjak was founded in 1975 in Zagreb. Oliver Mlakar
Oliver Mlakar (born 1 July 1935) is a Croatian television presenter. Best known for hosting game shows, he was one of the most popular television personalities in SFR Yugoslavia and later Croatia. Biography Mlakar was born in Ptuj and lived in Osijek from 1945 to 1954. He moved to Zagreb in 1954 to study French and Italian at the University of Zagreb and began working as an announcer for Radio Zagreb in 1957. Mlakar became a full-time broadcaster for Television Zagreb in 1965, hosting ''Poziv na kviz'' with Jasmina Nikić, the first quiz show on Yugoslav television.
