Tommy Cavanagh
Thomas Henry Cavanagh (29 June 1928 – 14 March 2007) was an English football player and coach. As a player, he was an inside-forward at six professional clubs, most notably Huddersfield Town, Doncaster Rovers and was player manager at Cheltenham Town, where he was sacked as manager for swearing during matches after complaints by two supporters' club members. Career After retiring as a player, Cavanagh coached and later managed Brentford. He coached at Nottingham Forest from 1966 until 1972. He then linked up with his former Preston teammate Tommy Docherty as a coach at Manchester United. During this time he worked with George Best, who notably bought him a white television for being late for training Cavanagh stayed at United when Docherty was sacked in 1977 and became assistant manager under Docherty's successor, Dave Sexton, but he left the club following Ron Atkinson's appointment in 1981. Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening (, usually abbreviated to Brøndby IF (), is a professional association football club based in Brøndbyvester, Capital Region of Denmark. The club was founded in 1964 as a merger between two local clubs and was promoted to the Danish top-flight football league in 1981. Brøndby IF has won 11 Danish championships and 7 Danish Cups. Orkanger IF
Orkanger Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Orkanger, Sør-Trøndelag. It has sections for association football, team handball, track and field, orienteering, Nordic skiing, swimming, gymnastics, powerlifting and dancing. It was founded on 1 January 1901. On 12 September 1947 it incorporated the clubs Orkanger TF and IL Njardar. In 1953 it lacked sections for handball, swimming, powerlifting and dancing, but had a section for speed skating. Jan Tore Ophaug started his career here. The club was coached by Harald Sunde (playing coach) from 1975 to 1977 and Roger Albertsen from 1989 to 1992. Knut Torbjørn Eggen
Knut Torbjørn Eggen (1 November 1960 – 20 February 2012) was a Norway, Norwegian association football, football coach and player, famous for his time in Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg as a player, and Moss FK, Moss and Fredrikstad FK, Fredrikstad as a coach. He was the son of Norway's most successful football coach, Nils Arne Eggen. Playing career Eggen was born on 1 November 1960 in Orkdal, to football player Nils Arne Eggen and Karin Pauline Eggen (1940–2011), as the first of three children. He began his youth career in the local club Orkdal IL, before moving on to Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg in 1978, where his father was the head coach. He won the league three times and the Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup two times with Rosenborg, where he spent his entire professional career until he retired in 1991, aged 31. Danny Blanchflower
Robert Dennis Blanchflower (10 February 1926 – 9 December 1993) was a former Northern Ireland footballer, football manager and journalist who played for and captained Tottenham Hotspur, including during their double-winning season of 1960–61. He was ranked as the greatest player ever in Spurs history by ''The Times'' in 2009. Blanchflower played as a defensive midfielder at right half and was known particularly for his accurate passing, his ability to dictate the tempo of the game and his inspiring leadership. Ronald Frederick Atkinson (born 18 March 1939), commonly known as "Big Ron" or "Mr. Bojangles", is an English former football player and manager. In the 1990s and early 2000s, he was regarded as one of Britain's best-known football pundits.
