Tom Spencer (born 2 January 1991) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who last played as a for Oldham R.L.F.C. in the RFL Championship. He previously played for the Wigan Warriors ( Heritage № 1029) in the Super League, and on loan from Wigan at Leigh in the Championship and the South Wales Scorpions in Championship 1. Spencer has also played for the Centurions in the Championship, and on loan from the Leigh Centurions at Oldham ( Heritage № 1362) in the Championship He also featured for the London Broncos in the Betfred Championship. Background Spencer was born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. He is the brother of Amy Spencer, a retired English sprinter. Hubert Thomas Spencer (born February 28, 1951) is a retired Major League Baseball outfielder. He played during one season at the major league level for the Chicago White Sox. After his playing career, he began a career managing in the minor leagues. He managed three teams to their league championships: the Asheville Tourists (), Geneva Cubs (), and Charlotte Knights (). Early life Spencer was born in Gallipolis, Ohio and graduated from Gallia Academy High School. He played college baseball at the University of Rio Grande. Coaching and managing Spencer was the first base coach for the Cleveland Indians in 1998 and 1989. In 2003, Spencer was named the manager of the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. However, he was replaced as skipper by Danny Sheaffer in the middle of the 2003 season. Thomas Newnham Bayley Spencer (born 10 April 1948) is a British Conservative Party politician and former Member of the European Parliament (MEP). Spencer was educated at Pangbourne Nautical College and the University of Southampton. He served as Conservative MEP for Derbyshire from 1979 to 1984, Conservative MEP for Surrey West from 1989 to 1994, and as Conservative MEP for Surrey from 1994 to 1999. He was leader of the UK Conservative MEPs from 1995 to 1998 and was Chairman of the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee from 1997 to 1999. Tom Spencer (born 30 June 1967) is an English singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is the current frontman for the punk rock band The Professionals. Early life and music career Born in West London and the son of novelist and musician John B. Spencer, Spencer began gigging in his teens, firstly singing backing vocals for his father's bands in London and then supporting him with his own school formed bands. He continued his musical education as guitarist for his father, touring Europe for the first time. Back home he played guitar for Motherhive in 1989 – a band fronted by Blue Zoo's Andy Overall They released one album 'Richard'. In the early 1990s he joined new wave/punk outfit Big Boy Tomato. They released two EPs 'Acton Baby' and 'Hormones and Hangovers'.
